About ME
Welcome to the official page of Shauna Knapp, a dynamic force in the music industry and an inspiring artist whose journey is as remarkable as her sound. Born in Kansas City, MO, and raised in Edwardsville, KS, Shauna's love for music sparked in her childhood, where she could often be found with a boom box in hand during her daycare years.
Initially navigating challenges in her education, including a brief drop-out to assist with family finances, Shauna's perseverance led her back to receive her high school diploma from Turner High. This determination shaped her career, infusing her music with authenticity and heart.
In 2012, Shauna's life changed dramatically when she was discovered at a karaoke bar by her friend Chad "Creepyface" Ford. After his mysterious disappearance, Shauna seized the opportunity and signed on with Joe Gitit, marking the beginning of her professional musical journey. In 2014, she launched her first mixtape, "Dreams Come True," featuring the single "Dreaming," released on her birthday, January 27th.
Though she began her career with "Gone in the Game" Record Label, Shauna opted to embrace her independence in 2015, taking her artistry on the road and touring across the United States. Her resilience and commitment paid off, leading her to partner with Black Flag Music in 2016, where she produced the impactful album "Love is Pain," complemented by memorable music videos that resonated with her growing fan base.
Shauna presents an engaging live experience as she has had the honor of opening for notable artists like Kung Fu Vampires, Mr. Capone-E, Amanda Perez, and Snow the Product. She is currently creating and collaborating with talented artists, actively working on two new albums while establishing herself as a formidable force in the industry.
Artistic growth led Shauna to enhance her skills at Full Sail University, where she graduated in February 2024 with a degree in Audio Engineering, further refining her talents behind the scenes.
As she gears up for the highly anticipated release of her new album "Stronger" on July 1, 2024, we invite you to join us on this journey of creativity, resilience, and passion. Keep an eye out for upcoming shows and releases; Shauna Knapp is just getting started, and she is ready to share her inspiring story, one beat at a time! Thank you for being a part of the journey.

Shauna Knapp Demo Reel is my final project having fun learning about how noise/sounds can make a whole different sound when mixing. In this project we did sound design for a Graveyard which was the funniest just because I love Halloween. Then we did sound design for Sci-Fi Facility.
The 1st project was the Graveyard which we download sounds from westarmusic. Once we got the sounds we wanted to use we still had to do a mix on the sounds then we would add to the game. Once you add to the game and see the game come to life, it really makes you look at video games a whole different way.
The 2nd project for Sci-Fi Facility we actually recorded sounds around the house and actually mix them to sound like something different for the video game. Let me tell you, this was a experience because every time I listen to a video game I'm wondering how did that make that sound. There are so many sounds that can be made out of one sound and I'm glad I got to experience this.
Thank you Full Sail University and the teachers who help me along the way.
